Which is still a nice thing for the résumé. But if you overstate anything and are found out, that will be fatal poison, and a stain that could follow you forever.

Sure, you don't mislead people like that. "An author of X" is the language I use.

Oh, OK. Sorry if I misinterpreted. (Usually on CV publication lists people have a section for books and a separate one for book chapters.)
