Ah, yes. The "battle against disinformation." Some may call it censorship. Do I trust any government's definition or characterization of disinformation? Hell, no! That said, tech companies are just as scummy as governments. I don't trust any of them.

The fact that EU is blocking access to rt.com is all I needed to know that they just wish to manipulate me for their own purposes.

This "I'll tell you what you can read, it's for your own good" is always the biggest red flag.

Anyone who has a half funcioning brain will know that ALL sides lie all the time.

This isn't about pro Russia, this is about the fact that EU is a nanny state telling me what I can and cannot read.

So regardless of what you see Russia's role being in this, one thing is clear: EU is no good guy itself.

EU is just a supra-national entity forcing EU members to conform by using the threat of not getting and EU funding and getting silly bad ratings like "no freedom of journalism in your country lol bad doggy sit".
