The proposal isn't to make a twitter clone that just happens to use RSS under the hood. I'm basically just saying we should take the existing trend of smaller, focused communities (like you find on slack or discord) and try to add a bit of glue so it's easier to keep tabs on a large number of communities. That's about half of the proposal, anyway.

A lot of the questions you ask are already resolved in the newsletter ecosystem.
