In many cases some opinions are clearly superior over others.

Compare "war crimes are bad for multiple reasons" and "lets torture, murder and loot and that is fine because they are subhumans".

Universal bothsideism is not a good idea.

Unfortunately, many people are able to not only justify war crimes, they also see it as a good thing when it’s their side that’s engaging in said war crimes.

But "all opinions are equal" does not work.

Normally my opinions are clearly superior. Other people's opinions are shit.

I expect the same to be true for everyone.

That's been my experience since I first saw the word applied to programming languages, and I mentally replied 'ok, but your opinion is objectively wrong!'

I prefer "and no one wants to hear yours".
