i wonder why bash-a-business.com has a [.] to apparently defeat text parsing? yet it’s actually a link. to the webarchive.
and one (and only one) other site has a similar construction to its name.

Maybe to keep someone from registering it for malicious purposes? At one point, archive.org would follow robots.txt
retroactively
. So if you lost control of the domain, someone else could wipe all of its history.
