Show HN: Investing assistant to manage money (apps.apple.com)

We built Warren because investing is easy to access, but hard to understand. Most people stitch context together across broker apps, news, social posts, and random market signals. It’s noisy, and rarely clear.

Market moves can be very different depending on your approach. Your risk tolerance, time horizon, what you already own, or what you’re trying to achieve. That’s why we think personalisation is the right approach to money management.

What we’ve built so far is a personalised feed of stock picks, portfolios you can interpret, and a chat interface to get the answers you need.

We’re curious what the community thinks. Feedback and recommendations welcome.

Smashing it - been using this since the early TestFlight releases. Cool to see it launched fully.

Thank you! we're glad you're enjoying it! Do any recommendations you have, we're looking into upscaling so feedback always helps.

This seems really interesting. Just a question on what makes this app different than a broker?

brokers just provide you access to the markets. You can buy and sell stocks on their apps but with Warren you find out what you should invest in and how it can be improved. We're making it easier for you to in markets without having to do extensive research, we hope you're enjoy the product

How is the app catered to the different levels of investment skills of each person?

when you sign up, we offer individuals a set personas that could resonate with them. Once they have selected their persona, Warren can determine what investments (stocks & portfolio) are suited for their style. Warren considers the individual's risk tolerance, time horizon & experience level to personalise their investing experience.

What makes personalised portfolios different from normal ones?

These portfolios are created for your persona i.e. your style. This is built using a reinforcement learning algorithm. So the stocks you see in personalised portfolios are more relevant for you. Normal portfolios are generic investments which are packaged by institutional fund managers who tend to charge fees to operate them. With Warren, its free & accessible.

How are you handling routing for the chat??

its a 3 way routing system where we have created different tools to identify and recognise the context of prompts. Based on the level of complexity appropriate models and context is sent to LLMs to interpret. This should optimise for latency.
